Your wedding at Caer Llan
The romance and informality of a country-house wedding in an outstandingly beautiful location, combined with personal attention to every detail, that's the secret of Caer Llan's popularity as a wedding venue. We've also been hosting wedding receptions since 1988 so we have plenty of experience ...plus we have a license for civil marriage ceremonies.
The atmosphere we aim to create is relaxed and everything about Caer Llan is welcoming, accommodating and adaptable whatever the season (or the weather). We invite you to bring your own style to your special day and when we promise you and your guests 'exclusive use' that means the freedom to enjoy everything our beautiful home and surroundings have to offer – the house, the terraces with their stunning views, the gardens and the surrounding woodlands – without any other potentially conflicting events taking place at the same time.
We have recently completed refurbishing and extending the indoor function area giving it a larger open-plan look (whilst retaining the traditional character) enabling everyone to participate in the marriage service and to dine together, and we have an ongoing programme of constantly upgrading our guest accommodation with all of the bedrooms now featuring brand new, high-quality en-suite bathrooms.
Highlights
We can accommodate up to 50 residential guests in a mix of double and family rooms shared between the historic main house and the unique and eco-friendly 'Berm House' (immediately adjacent).
We can offer hospitality and entertainment to a total of 120 guests, have a fully-licensed bar and offer a wide choice of menus, cooked by Vicky and her team in our own kitchen, using locally sourced ingredients.
We've worked hard to make Caer Llan a practical wedding venue too with ample parking close to the house, a choice of room configurations; and hospitality and entertainment to suit a range of budgets.
