It is always a little worrying bringing a group of children somwhere for the first time. However, upon arriving all my concerns were quickly assured. The venue was ideal - there is plenty of space for the kids to spread out and play, both inside and out. They enjoyed football and rugby on the terrace, croquet and boules, playing hide and seek, swimming in the pool and walking in the hills. The rooms were comfortable, the food was brilliant, both the roast and BBQ. Even the weather was perfect. I couldn't be happier - we will certainly be back soon. Thanks so much.

This is just a brief note to thank you both for giving us all such a magnificent day on the 6th. We all felt that the whole occassion was just right and I know that Tilly and Jamie were absolutely delighted. We had a great many compliments not only about the delicious food and wine, but also to say what a perfect setting Caer Llan had been for the reception. Although Judith and I rather ran out of steam for the evening celebrations, we had a full report from some of the survivors the next day and it was obviously a great party that seemed to go on for most of Saturday night.
We couldn't put it better than a comment from one of our relatives who described Caer Llan as a "wonderful place to have found, with its generous hospitality, its magnificent views, it seemingly inexhaustible supply of food and drink..." Again many thanks to you all.

Our wedding reception in September 2006 at Caer Llan Field Studies & Conference Centre was better than we could have ever imagined. Many of our guests commented on the spectacular views at this amazing venue. The management really made us feel in control of how we wanted the day’s events to proceed and they had the experience to make some very helpful suggestions at the planning stage. Their friendly and flexible approach really made the day the wonderful memorable day it was. It was particularly nice for the families in the party. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful garden and grounds and the outdoor pool was a huge hit with the children. Food was as expected, generous and absolutely delicious and the people serving it were very friendly. Thanks again for everything you did to make our wedding day so special.
