Civil Ceremonies at Caer Llan!

Civil Marriage Ceremonies

For those couples who prefer not to be married in church or registry office, Caer Llan is licensed for civil marriage ceremonies giving you the opportunity to stage both your marriage ceremony and wedding reception in this fabulous setting. We are able to offer this service providing that an organised post ceremony reception is also booked at Caer Llan. Civil Marriage ceremonies must be carried out between 8am and 6pm in one of three licensed rooms within the main house.

The Common Room (Maximum 64 people all seated, 100 with standing)

The Lecture Room (Maximum 45 people seated)

The Board Room (Maximum 24 people seated)

The fee for using Caer Llan for your Civil Ceremony is based on the calculator

£100 + £2.50 per head

For ceremonies held in the common room, a live video feed can be connected to the big screen in the lecture room, such that additional guests can watch the ceremony live from the room next door.

Following the legally standing civil ceremony, there is an opportunity to carry out a less formal and perhaps more personal blessing outside in the idylic gardens.

The Civil Ceremony is conducted by the county Registrar who you will need to contact to confirm availability for your date. They will also charge you for their services at your ceremony.
